This is my own design using a range of yarns and stitch techniques to create a unique and elegant siamese cat. The tea cosy is knitted in a chunky yarn with the head and neck lightly stuffed (BS5852) to create a cute and cuddly appearance as well as to provide that little bit of extra insulation to keep your tea warm for longer. He is knitted in a gorgeous jade green colour and finished using applique and embroidered detail. He would be great company at the breakfast table, that’s for sure.
Size:-
My tea cosies are designed for a medium size teapot that will take approx 2 pints when filled to the brim. The teapots I use measure 13cm to the top of the lid and is the most popular size. However If you like one of these tea cosies but prefer it to fit a large tea pot please send me a message. For my overseas customers please bear in mind that a large tea cosy may be more expensive to post.
